Large crosseyed stereogram of Downtown Denver
Smaller version of Denver stereogram for lower res monitors
To do these stereograms, sit well back from the monitor (like 3 feet)
and cross your eyes until the 2 images become 3 and the center
one will be in 3d. Once it's locked in, you can move closer to
see more detail. Start with the smaller version and move to the
larger one once you get it. One trick some people use is to
hold their finger up several inches in front of their nose
so that that appears centered in the left image when you close
your left eye and view with right.. and centered in right image
when you close your right eye and view with left. Then move
the finger down a bit so it's not blocking the images, focus
on the tip of your finger and then subtly shift the focus from
your finger to the screen behind it to get that 3rd center
image to appear.
Works to use the tip of a pencil or something too.
